01

We sell nothing

Your personal information is never sold. It is shared only with the providers that let us reach you at launch.

02

Nothing before you agree

No analytics or marketing cookie is placed until you say yes. Refusing takes a single click.

03

Leaving is one email

Access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion from the waitlist: one email is enough.

04

An answer in 30 days

Our privacy officer handles every request within 30 days, free of charge.

01

About this policy

Lodjx is a product of NeuraSoftwares Technologies Inc (“NeuraSoftwares”, “we”). This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect when you visit lodjx.ca or join the launch waitlist, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are.

It covers this website and the launch waitlist only. The Lodjx platform itself is still in development; when it opens, the personal information handled inside an account — leases, payments, maintenance requests, messages — will be governed by a separate policy published before the first account is created.

Our parent company's corporate site and business communications are covered by its own policy, published on neurasoftwares.com.

Personal information is any information that relates to a natural person and allows that person to be identified, directly or indirectly.

02

Privacy officer

In accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, NeuraSoftwares has designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information. The same officer is responsible for Lodjx.

03

The information we collect

What you give us directly

  • Launch waitlist: your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — a company name and a phone number. Company and phone are optional; a waitlist should stay cheap to join.
  • The language you submitted in, so that we answer you in the one you were reading.
  • Whether you asked to receive news about Lodjx. We record your answer either way — a yes or a no — so we can show what you chose and when.
  • Exchanges with us: the content of your emails or calls, and the notes we record about them.

What is collected automatically

As you browse this site, we collect through technological means: your IP address, your browser type and version, your operating system, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, the page that referred you to us, and the identifiers attached to cookies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information through this site, and it is not directed at minors. This site asks for nothing about your tenancy, your income or your credit.

04

Why we collect it

  • To tell you when Lodjx opens, and to invite you to early access.
  • To send you news about Lodjx, if — and only if — you ticked the box asking for it.
  • To answer your questions about the product.
  • To understand who is waiting for Lodjx, so the first release serves them.
  • To understand how this site is used and improve it.
  • To keep our systems secure and prevent fraud and abuse of our forms.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We collect only the information necessary for these purposes. Joining the waitlist does not sign you up for anything else: news about Lodjx is a separate box, and leaving it unticked means we write to you only when Lodjx opens.

06

Cookies

This site uses cookies. Some are necessary for it to work and to stay secure. Others would be used to measure audience or for marketing.

No non-essential cookie is placed on your device before you have consented to it. Our banner lets you accept or refuse each category on your first visit, and you can change your choices at any time.

Strictly necessary
Two cookies only: “lodjx_consent”, which stores your choices for six months, and “NEXT_LOCALE”, which remembers the site's display language.
Analytics
No measurement tool is active on this site today. If we add one, it will load only with your consent and this section will be updated.
Marketing
No marketing tool is active today. The same rule applies: nothing loads without your consent.

You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies.

07

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the waitlist with anyone outside the providers below.

We share it with service providers acting on our behalf, only as far as necessary to carry out their mandate, and under a written contract requiring them to keep it confidential and not to use it for any other purpose.

Salesforce
Customer relationship management: the waitlist itself, and the record of our exchanges with you.
Resend
Email delivery: sending us a copy of each waitlist signup, so that none is lost if our customer relationship platform is unavailable.
Cloud hosting provider
Hosting of this website and the systems behind it.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to our professional advisers bound by secrecy, or as part of a commercial transaction (sale, merger, financing), in which case confidentiality measures apply.

08

Information processed outside Québec

Some of our providers, including our customer relationship platform, our email delivery provider and our host, process or store information outside Québec, notably in Canada and the United States.

These transfers are governed by written agreements setting out confidentiality and security measures, and by encryption of data in transit and at rest.

Information held outside Québec may be subject to the laws of the territory where it is located and may, in certain circumstances, be accessible to the authorities of that territory.

09

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Waitlist entries
Until Lodjx launches and you have been invited, then 24 months — or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first.
Marketing consent
For as long as you consent to receive news, then 3 years after you withdraw it — the record of a consent has to outlive the consent itself, so we can show what you chose and when.
Withdrawal list
If you ask to be removed, your address is kept on a suppression list for the sole purpose of not contacting you again. It is used for nothing else.
Exchanges with us
36 months after our last exchange.
Connection logs
13 months.

We review our records annually. At the end of these periods, information is securely destroyed or anonymized according to generally accepted best practices.

10

Security

We put in place security measures that are reasonable given the sensitivity of the information:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
  • Access control and access logging.
  • Two-factor authentication on our internal systems.
  • Least-privilege access.
  • Ongoing staff awareness training.

We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents. Where an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned promptly.

11

Automated decisions and profiling

We make no decision based exclusively on automated processing that would produce legal effects for you. Should that change — and a rental platform is exactly the kind of product where it could — we would inform you at the time of the decision, and you could submit your observations to a person able to review it.

Where we use technology that can identify you, locate you or profile you, we tell you and give you the means to turn those functions off.

12

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected.
  • Withdraw your consent to its use or disclosure, and be removed from the waitlist.
  • Receive the computerized information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or ask that it be sent to a third party (portability).
  • Ask that the dissemination of information about you cease, or that any hyperlink giving access to it be de-indexed, where the conditions set by law are met.
  • Obtain information about any decision based exclusively on automated processing and about the main factors that led to it.

To exercise these rights, write to our privacy officer using the details in section 2. We will verify your identity and answer within 30 days of receiving your request. This service is free, apart from reasonable transcription or reproduction fees, which we would tell you about beforehand.

13

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled, or with the answer you received, you can file a complaint with our privacy officer, who will review it and answer you within 30 days.

You may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, whose contact details are available at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

14

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy — and we will, when the Lodjx platform opens and starts handling account data. The version in force is always the one published on this site, and the update date appears at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we will inform you by an appropriate means.
